This is a 6 part almost 1 hour long series i created on how to buy, clean, repair, and store video games as a collector. This is knowledge based on my own 20 years experience buying and selling all mater of stuff as well as things i have learned being a part of the game collecting community.
I decided to start doing some silly straight edge gamer posters a while back using kinda famous memes in the gaming community to pass along a cheesy anti-drug message. While i am straight edge myself i still find anti-drug ads hilarious.

What’s New?
Basically everything. There will be much more video content, all new WEEKLY DLaG columns on Sundays, and much much more. All the old tired stuff is gone it’s time to be reborn bigger and better than ever.
This website will basically take over for my game collection site, DLaG Collectors Edition, DLaG Video, and DLaG proper bringing them all under 1 roof.
This is going to be another of those annoying things that bother me top ten lists i tend to do but it’s a pretty good one. This time around it’s the top ten things that bother me about the gaming industry as a whole.
10. DRM and Region locks. Why is it that even though i spend $60 on a game new sealed from a store that i then can’t do what i wish with said game. I can’t play import games with out breaking the asinine DMCA and installing questionable mods chips or spending insane overcharges to buy a console from the region the game comes from. Don’t even get me started on the customer cruelty known as DRM which only stops people who buy your stuff from using it and wastes a lot of time and code space. A lot of the time DRM even breaks the game.
9. Over saturation of certain genres. Really in a single year how many FPS and Rhythm games do we need. This goes for subjects as well. Ok we get it people like Zombies now stop making a new Zombie game every other week for crap sake.
8. Douchey DLC. Ten extra dollars just for some costumes that normally would have been unlocked by playing the game back in the day. What is this crap. Unlockables are dead long live the get rich quick DLC-a-thon.
7. Over priced games. $60 is just to much to spend on a new game. Titanic cost over 200 million dollars to make but when the dvd came out it still only cost $20. It costs under $1 to press a DVD and around $100 million to make the average AAA title so why do they cost so damn much to buy? I think people would be willing to try more games and buy more new games if the price was lowered.
6. Download only games. Sony’s PSPGo is the most stupid thing i have ever seen. Over priced, can’t play your old PSP games, and you don’t own a damn thing you buy for it so when the servers go down say hello to your new paper weight. In 10 years i will be able to dust off a NES and play a game. Will i be able to play my downloaded games?
5. MMO Gold Rush. Not every property needs an MMO. Honestly the best MMOs are original ideas like WoW, Eve, etc. There is a reason WoW dominates this market. It’s fun, it’s easy to get into, and the people that make it know what the hell they are doing. Blizzard is an amazingly hardworking, creative, and talented group who is dedicated to not putting out crap to make a quick buck.
4. Lay off the used game stores. I think Gamestop could be a disciple of the anti-Christ but i still think there is a place for used game stores. Collectors need a place to find older games no longer printed, poor people need a place to get games they other wise would not get to play, and lastly the owners of these stores are some of the most hardcore dedicated game fans on earth so why shit on them?
3. The yearly sports game refresh. Sports franchises should only be allowed a new game once every 3 years mostly for a graphics/features update. In between those years should be downloadable roster updates to make the game your playing current. I think the dev time would make better games with better features overall across the board.
2. Ridiculous over priced plastic instrument bundles. I spent $299 on a game console why do i want to spend half that much on a $20 game and a giant plastic easily breakable drum set that looks like it was made by fisher price? Oh and if you want the really good stuff it’s like $300 fucking dollars!
1. YOUR A GAME COMPANY DAMN IT! I don’t want a dvd player, streaming content, social networks, tweets, small keyboard attachments, web cams, or any other stupid shit clogging up what is suppose to be a machine to sit down at and play a game. Game systems should not need a menu system or a dashboard. Put in game, close lid/tray, play game…the end.
